The Magic of Meaning: How to Be the Source of Your Own Inspiration Gary Sherman with Ellen Miller Enrollment closed September 12 October 17 November 14 January 23 February 27 March 27 April 24 May 22 Meaning and purpose lie at the heart of the spirit in life. They guide us through life giving structure to our actions and grant the feeling of fulfillment we seek. As children, meaning seems to be implicit in every action, unquestioned and not yet separated into thought. As a young adult it is something we aspire to, to grasp and use as path. In the middle years of life meaning and purpose is something we attempt to ground and solidify as we prepare to continue on. In our later years, meaning is something we realize does not belong to the world but to the self instead. Here we must take responsibility for generating it or life begins to enfold on itself.
